In celebration of World Art Day this April, Heart Evangelista took part in a meaningful initiative that blended creativity with compassion. The Global Fashion Icon joined fellow Sparkle artists in supporting children from the Little Ark Foundation, reinforcing the Kapuso value of giving back through art.

For Heart, art has always carried a deeper purpose. During a special painting session with children living with thalassemia, she created a piece titled “We Stand Together.” The artwork was eventually acquired by one of her supporters, with all proceeds directed back to the children who continue to battle the genetic blood disorder.

Heart expressed heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to be part of the initiative.

“I am thankful to GMA for focusing on these beautiful angels here today,” she said. “It's very meaningful to me to be able to share my presence and help in any way I can.”

Her involvement in the cause goes beyond this event. Since the age of 21, Heart has been supporting children with thalassemia, consistently using her influence and talent to raise awareness and extend help.

Other Sparkle artists, including Shuvee Etrata, John Rex, and Ericca Laude, also contributed by supporting the children’s artworks. The initiative concluded with the turnover of proceeds, led by Shuvee, to benefit the young patients and their families.

Reflecting on her experience,

Shuvee shared, “When I first came sa National Children's Hospital, I saw not just children—but hope.”
She continued, “Now that I'm here again, I'd like to give you hope and a little bit of happiness.”
