“Ako, para sa akin, kasi may tiwala na kami sa isa’t isa eh. So that’s the best part about working with your friends. Someone that you really have trust in, someone that trusts you,” the actor said during the special event.
His statement highlighted how their off-screen connection translated into a more authentic portrayal on-screen.
He also shared that the process felt easier because they were already familiar with each other.
“So it was such a good process na wala po ‘yung getting to know stage. Wala na ‘yun. We’re already past that. Kasi marami na kami pinagdaanan nito ni Xyriel, hindi lang alam ng mga tao. Pero I grew up knowing who Xyriel Manabat was and now naging leading lady ko pa siya,” he added.
Their collaboration in the Netflix film marks a meaningful milestone for both stars.
With an existing friendship as their foundation, Kyle and Xyriel expressed excitement about bringing their characters to life and sharing their natural chemistry with audiences.
