Reflecting on her iconic roles in "Ang TV" and as Becky in "Princess Sarah," the actress admitted that her early success came with a significant personal cost.

"In a way, yes," says Panganiban.

She was asked if her childhood was taken away by her career. She explained that while her peers were playing, her life was defined by scripts and long hours.

The actress recalled how the lack of sleep and constant work replaced the typical rest and play of a young girl.

"Ngayon, pag yung anak ko yung gagawa nun, baka pag pinaiyak nila yung anak ko kunin ko na," the actress remarked.

Beyond the loss of playtime, Panganiban revealed a lingering sadness regarding her education.

"Yung hindi talaga ako nakapagtapos," she identified as one of her biggest regrets.

She disclosed that if she had been given the chance, she would have pursued a career in medicine.

"Gusto ko talaga nursing," she says.

Angelica noted that she actually dreamed of becoming a doctor.

While she won't stop Amila from entering the industry if the interest is genuine, Panganiban wants to wait for the right time and encourage her to explore all options. However, if Amila does choose the camera, the actress has a grand vision that extends far beyond local shores. Panganiban jokingly hopes her daughter might even achieve the one professional dream she hasn't reached yet: winning an Oscar.
