“The energy was amazing. I owe it all to the cast. Sila talaga. Siyempre sa creative team, production. Also Kate. Sila nag-encourage,” Bernardez shared.
The actress also noted how she appreciates seeing more mainstream actors exploring theater.
“I am so happy makakita na may mga artista na from TV crossing over to the theater. Having the courage to put themselves out there. Si Jasmine, si Royce, si Iana. Sana, more of us get to taste the theater. It is a different animal. Ako takot personally,” she said.
She also praised the material of the play and encouraged the public to watch it.
“Naiyak ako, the material. It is something happening all over. Ang hirap panuorin din kasi alam mo nangyayari pa rin talaga and people are losing hope and feeling stuck,” she added.
“Endo,” a stage adaptation of the 2007 film, will officially open on April 10.
