In a report on 24 Oras by Aubrey Carampel aired on Wednesday, April 8, the actress shared her plan to extend assistance in her own simple way amid the ongoing energy crisis.
“Gusto kong pumunta lang sa isang fuel station,” Kyline said, explaining her idea of directly reaching out to people who are feeling the impact of the rising cost of fuel.
The actress also revealed that her inspiration for this initiative comes from her grandfather, who used to work as a jeepney driver in Bicol.

“It's like an homage to my lolo na jeepney driver before sa Bicol,” she shared.
According to the actress, her grandfather’s experience helped shape her desire to support those who rely heavily on fuel for their livelihood, especially public utility drivers who are among the most affected sectors.
Kyline also acknowledged that she herself is not exempt from the effects of the ongoing energy crisis. She said that, like many others, she has made adjustments in her lifestyle to manage expenses.
“Bawas sa paglabas-labas kasi para 'di po masyadong magastos sa gas,” she explained.
Aside from limiting her trips, the actress also mentioned that she has been trying to reduce household expenses as much as possible.
“Bawas talaga sa lahat ng expenses. Sa bahay, as much as possible, sarado lahat, na-uunplug lahat ng kailangan i-unplug,” she added.
Through these measures, the actress shared how she is coping with the situation while also finding ways to extend help to others who are experiencing the same challenges.
