Cardona was subsequently brought to the Women and Children Protection Desk for documentation and the filing of appropriate charges.
Meanwhile, in a video provided by the Taguig City Police, Cardona was seen standing in a police station while an officer read him his rights. The former player, who appeared calm while in handcuffs, listened as the officer explained that he has the right to remain silent and the right to an attorney.

As previously reported by KAMI, The Bureau of Immigration arrested Estonian vlogger Siim Roosipuu on January 15 following complaints of harassment and illegal filming of residents in Dumaguete. The local government of Negros Oriental declared the foreigner persona non grata, meaning he is no longer welcome in the area due to his inappropriate behavior. The Bureau of Immigration also warned that the country is not a playground for foreign content creators who exploit Filipinos merely to gain views and profit. The vlogger has since apologized for his actions and is currently cooperating to expedite his deportation back to Estonia.
