The two have a storied history of on-screen friction, having previously clashed in hit series such as Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang and Alyas Robin Hood.

"Na-miss ko 'yung pagiging kontrabida actually. For longest time, ako ang nagbi-villain kay Dingdong sa 'Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang,' 'Alyas Robin Hood,'" Paolo admitted during a recent media briefing.

He emphasized that playing the antagonist to Dingdong feels natural given their long-standing professional relationship.

This comfort level is crucial, especially as the role demands rigorous physical preparation and high-octane action sequences.

The camaraderie between the two leads remains a highlight of the production. Paolo laughingly recalled a moment during their intense physical training where they both paused to reflect on the passage of time.

"Actually nagti-training kami ni Dingdong. Sabi namin, 'ang tanda na natin, bakit ba natin ginagawa ito?'" he joked.

Despite the humor, he noted that their deep-seated friendship provides a safety net on set. He expressed full confidence that even if accidents occur during their fight scenes, there would be no ill will between them.
