She shared that there was a time when she felt like she "shut down" from the world, and her vision journal was full of ideas that had to stop. However, being surrounded by nature helped her find herself again.
"Na-stop lahat because of what happened to me. Parang natengga ako. Nag-shut down ako sa mundo. Pero kapag napapalibutan ako ng plants… I feel so alive again! Kaya hinahayaan lang talaga ako ng asawa ko na maghalaman... mapa-vegetables man o hindi... he knows me... masaya ako sa garden..."
The Garden Hall isn't just for her plants, though. Neri is excited to use the space to help others too. She plans to conduct short courses and hobby classes for women who need a break and a place to breathe.
Ending her post with a sweet tribute to her husband, Neri wrote: "Sobrang grateful ako sa asawa ko. He really, truly wants me to be happy."
