“you weren’t supposed to be on that show. the irony is sumampa ka sa show knowing na tito boy is part of the community because you’ll benefit from it pero nung other guests shared their piece, ayaw mo na sa show? also wala na bang ibang issue? why not try speaking for the oil price hike or hindi pag pasok ng mga government officials.”

In her comment, Sofia questioned Alvin’s decision to appear on the program, noting that he was already aware of the host’s background before agreeing to participate.

This comment came amid a post by her stepfather, Alvin Aragon. In his message addressed to “Ma'am Annette,” Alvin called for the removal of the King of Talk and the show’s writer. He stated that they use the platform to encourage and influence Filipino people, especially parents, by making it seem acceptable to be gay, tomboy, trans, or q*eer.

Kasi, he uses, they use this platform to encourage and influence Filipino people, especially Filipino parents. Gusto nilang palabasin na okay lang, na walang masama sa pagiging bakla, pagiging tomboy, pagiging trans at pagiging q*eer. Ma'am Annette, alam natin na kasalanan 'yan sa Mata ng King of kings natin. Stop propagating Sin of homosexuality because it is against the Lord Jesus.”
