Nico Bolzico recently confessed that before their star-studded triathlon event, he viewed Alden Richards more as a "showbiz personality" than a serious teammate—a mistake he quickly realized once the event started.

The event, which brought together celebrities and athletes, made everyone see Alden pushing his limits.

"I have to admit it. I underestimated Alden. He's one of the busiest and most recognized actors out there. Good-looking, composed, with that 'good boy' aura. I wasn't sure he had what it takes to fully prepare, perform, and represent BYD in an Iron Man," Nico shared.

Wil Dasovich, a close friend of Nico who was one of the team members, and witnessed Alden's hard work firsthand. Nico noted that seeing Alden's focus changed his entire perspective on the actor's work ethic outside of the camera.

"But everything started to change... In those two months, Alden showed up in a way very few people do. Straight from taping to training. From the airport to the track. No sleep, no excuses, no shortcuts, just work."

The apology wasn't just about the race results, but about the respect earned through hard work. Nico made it a point to publicly "salute" Alden for being a great example of perseverance.

"In that moment, he wasn't just Alden Richards to me. He was... ALDEN F***** RICHARDS (excuse my French) and that energy pushed me beyond what I thought I had in me. It's rare to witness someone in that state. It's something only sports can reveal and Alden went there. There's a beast inside him."

The video started with Solenn Heussaff's husband asking what kind of Tito they are turning into. He said that he has been called Tito too many times already so it was simply right to do the video.
