The impromptu collaboration drew attention from passersby and netizens, who praised the musicians’ gesture.

Chito later shared in a separate post how quickly Gab responded.

“Walang tanong tanong, pumunta agad,” ani Chito na frontman ng Parokya Ni Edgar.

Helping others is not new for the band. In 2023, Gab was hospitalized due to pneumonia complications linked to lymphoma.

Fellow musicians and the group organized fundraising efforts to help cover his medical expenses. One of the items auctioned was a guitar signed by Eraserheads, which sold for P1.3 million.

By 2024, the band shared photos celebrating Gab’s recovery and reunion. Their recent act of helping a busking father once again highlighted the group’s long-standing culture of support—both within their circle and beyond.

Beyond music, he is also active on social media, where he frequently shares insights about his personal life, family moments, and everyday reflections. Previously, Miranda also showed gratitude to fans in Cebu after Parokya ni Edgar performed with Sponge Cola. He shared that he pushed through with the show despite battling a severe cold, adding that the crowd’s energy helped him complete the performance. The singer also thanked Yael Yuzon for checking on him backstage and providing vitamins and medicine. The experience highlighted the close friendship between the two musicians, both during performances and behind the scenes.

In another post, Miranda spoke about feeling lonely and somewhat guilty while staying alone in a hotel during a performance trip in Bataan. He said he dealt with the feeling by reminiscing about playing with his children. Miranda added that he and Naig have agreed to limit their phone use whenever they are with their kids, allowing them to focus on quality family time. For the singer, a simple life brings the greatest joy, especially when he is able to support his loved ones and remain present in their lives.
