The SexBomb Girls remain one of the most recognizable all-female dance groups in Philippine entertainment history. They rose to prominence as regular performers on the long-running noontime program Eat Bulaga!, where their energetic routines and the famous “Get, Get Aw!” chant became a pop culture staple. Members such as Sunshine Garcia and Jopay Paguia later gained recognition beyond dancing, starring in music releases and television projects. Even years later, the group continues to be celebrated for shaping local pop music, dance trends, and variety show entertainment.
In separate news, Alex Castro and dancer Joshua Zamora responded to the controversial remarks made by Alvin Aragon about the SexBomb Girls. The two shared their thoughts during their guest appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on GMA Network. Castro explained that couples often have different perspectives and personal beliefs about how they support each other. Meanwhile, Zamora highlighted that people should express their beliefs thoughtfully and with compassion when discussing sensitive matters publicly.
Meanwhile, Castro also defended his wife, Sunshine Garcia, saying he does not impose restrictions on what she chooses to wear. According to him, the responsibility for disrespectful reactions lies with observers rather than the woman herself. He also recalled how he stood by Garcia during moments when she faced body-shaming and career challenges. Castro further spoke about his possible political aspirations, noting that any future plans would depend on proper timing and guidance.
