“Kahit anong sama ng iniisip mo, may nakita kang babae, gusto mong gahasain, gusto mong halayin, gusto mong daklutin,” he said.
He continued, “O, sina… Harapan na. O. Hindi kasalanan yun. O. Yan, yung kapatid, bumanat pa.”
Topacio then directly mentioned Curtis, saying:
“Si, ano, si Jasmine Curtis. Parang binabastos daw yung kapatid niya. Hindi daw tama.”
He addressed actors more broadly:
After Curtis shared the clip, it immediately went viral, with social media users criticizing Topacio’s remarks as offensive, misogynistic, and inappropriate. Many defended Curtis and condemned the tone of the statements.
At the time the clip circulated, neither Topacio nor DWIZ had issued a follow-up statement addressing the renewed attention. The incident highlights debates around respect for public figures, online behavior, and accountability for statements made in media forums.
