Actress Kris Bernal recently shared the struggles of being a working mother through a series of raw and emotional Instagram stories. The celebrity mom opened up about the "heavy" feeling of having professional commitments while her young daughter, Hailee, was unwell.

"As a mom, nothing is heavier than wanting to be with your sick child but being tied to work," Kris confessed. She admitted to feeling deep anxiety as her week was supposed to be fully booked with tapings and events.
However, Kris felt that her prayers were answered when two of her schedules were suddenly cancelled, giving her the chance to prioritize Hailee's recovery.
"Thank You, Lord, for Your perfect timing and for reminding me that You are in control," she wrote.

The situation remained challenging as Hailee's fever, which began on a Monday, persisted throughout the night, reaching 38-39°C.
Kris described the long, sleepless night of carrying her fussy child, noting, "GRABE ANG PAGOD AT ANTOK."
Despite the exhaustion, she found value in the quiet moments of providing comfort, patience, and presence.
In her latest updates, Kris was seen at St. Luke's Medical Center in BGC, Taguig, with the caption "Mom mode: activated 24/7."
Sharing a photo of her daughter's arm with a medical patch, she asked for prayers for her "poor little angel" to feel better and get back to playing soon.
