Kapuso Big Winner Caprice Cayetano addressed speculations surrounding her “ideal guy” remarks during her recent appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda following her victory in Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0.

The issue stemmed from a moment inside the PBB house when Caprice described her ideal partner as someone not too tall, short-haired, clean-looking, and simple in the way he dresses. At the time, many viewers quickly assumed she was referring to fellow Kapuso housemate and 2nd Big Placer Heath Jornales, especially as fans began rallying behind their “CapEath” tandem.

During the interview, Caprice clarified that her earlier description inside the PBB house was not meant to refer to Heath.

“Hindi po si Heath yung sinasabi ko noon,” she clarified.

She explained that the qualities she mentioned were inspired by someone very close to her heart.

“Si daddy po talaga yung sinasabi ko. Si daddy po kasi talaga yung nagiging standard ko. Si daddy po yung dahilan kung bakit mataas yung standards ko. Gusto ko po, kung sakali man po, parang si daddy. Kasing bait po niya, kasing hardworking po ni daddy.”

Caprice shared that her father’s kindness and dedication to their family shaped her perspective on relationships at a young age. Because of this, she admitted that she naturally holds high standards when it comes to the qualities she hopes to find in a future partner.

While she acknowledged the support from fans who enjoy seeing her paired with Heath, Caprice maintained that her comments were purely about the values instilled in her by her family, and not a hidden message directed at anyone inside the house.
