After her exposure on StarStruck, Iwa became known for playing antagonist roles in various TV series such as Kung Mahawi Man ang Ulap and Darna. Aside from acting, she also appeared on several magazine covers and participated in other TV programs. Over time, Iwa gradually stepped away from the showbiz spotlight to focus more on her personal life. She is the partner of Pampi Lacson, the son of former senator Panfilo Lacson, and they have two children, Eve (or Mimi) and Caleb Jiro.
