Rita Daniela has officially signed with Viva Artist Agency but made it clear that her loyalty to GMA Network remains intact.

During her introduction as Viva’s newest talent, the singer-actress assured fans that her transfer does not erase her deep connection with the network she has called home for 21 years.

“There's always a Kapuso heart in me," Rita Daniela stated.

The performer reflected on her long journey with GMA and expressed nothing but appreciation for the people who helped shape her career.

“Of course, that's 21 different years of my life. Wala po akong masasabing hindi maganda about GMA, most definitely with Ms. Annette [Gozon-Valdez], Ms. Joy [Marcelo], and my manager for long years na si Ms. Tracy [Garcia],” Rita told GMANetwork.com.

She added, “Kasi po, they helped me with a lot of things—hindi lang sa personal because they really made my dreams come into reality.”

Rita explained that her decision stems from a desire for growth.

“It just so happened, di ba po, in every artist, talagang ganun na maghahanap ka ng fresh start and to grow,” she shared.

She emphasized, “I have nothing bad to say, always, always grateful. Hinding-hindi na maaalis yun, forever nang nakaukit 'yun sa puso ko.”

The actress also confirmed that her former management, Sparkle GMA Artist Center, was informed beforehand.

“They know everything, Okay naman po sa pagkakaalala ko. Okay po kami. Nakapagpaalam po ako nang maayos at na-explain ko po sa kanila kung bakit nandito ako ngayon,” she said.

Despite the shift, Rita stressed she is not leaving GMA.

“Hindi naman po [ako aalis] sa GMA because ang Viva naman po ay open naman sa lahat. I can still work po sa iba-ibang network,” she explained.

She further added, “Of course, if they would still love me to do projects with them, of course, I will always say yes.”
