Angel Locsin has officially broken her social media hiatus once more to fire back at critics targeting her stepson, Joaquin Arce. In a rare and strongly worded post on X, Angel addressed the growing "nepo baby" labels being thrown at Joaquin following his stint on Pinoy Big Brother (PBB).

"Bihira lang akong mag-social media ha. Pero nagulat ako sa comments ng ilang tao dito," Angel began her post.

She questioned why Joaquin is being discredited just because of who his parents are, even comparing her own humble beginnings to his current path.

"Ano namang kasalanan ni Joaquin at naging asawa ko ang dad niya para ma-brand siya as nepo baby? Para namang hindi ako nag-dyip o bus papuntang tapings ko dati," she said.

Angel was quick to clarify that while Joaquin has connections, he chose the hard way to enter the industry.

She revealed that instead of using his influence to skip the line, he decided to face the rigorous audition process for the reality show.

"My son could have asked me for a project, but ang hiniling niya is mag-audition sa PBB," she explained.

The actress also admitted to being an all-out supporter, disclosing that she has personally contributed 12,000 votes for him so far. She even jokingly threatened to add more just to annoy the "bashers."

"Yung 12k na boto ko kay Joaquin sa buong journey niya, baka dagdagan ko ma-asar ko lang yung ibang makagawa ng issue," Angel added. She ended her post with a blunt piece of advice for the critics: "Wag bitter. Nakakapangit yan."
