While Boy began by acknowledging that Alvin's views come from a "point of faith," he firmly argued that the former actor went too far.

"I'd like to be gracious to Alvin. He's coming from a point of faith, kanyang paniniwala. Totoo yung kanyang paniniwala. Pero para sa akin po, he crossed a line," he stated, specifically pointing to Alvin's comments about parents who support their qu*er children.

Boy called this an "overstretch" and criticized the implication that Alvin's strict views represent the only "correct" way to parent. He challenged the idea that choosing love, dignity, and kindness for one's children would lead to a negative spiritual outcome.

"Alvin, you cannot impose your faith. You cannot impose your parenting style. You cannot impose yourself on us," Boy remarked, noting that he found Alvin's wife, Izzy Trazona, to be "beautiful inside and out" during their past interactions.

The host closed his message with a powerful reminder about the nature of a compassionate God.

"Pupunta ba ako sa impyerno because I am gay? At pupunta ba ang mga magulang na yumayakap sa kanilang mga anak with love and dignity?" he asked. Quoting St. John of the Cross, Boy reminded Alvin and his viewers that "in the evening of life, we will all be judged on love and love alone."
