“Pero syempre, hiwalay pa rin kami ng tinitirahan, inuuwian. So, kapag kailangan namin 'yung isa't isa, medyo may struggle rin to reach each other because magkaiba kami ng oras at trabaho. So, I miss my family. I miss being with my mom,” Jasmine said.
“I think mahirap lang na hindi mo sila kasama, lalo na kapag pagod ka. Lalo na kapag kailangan mo lang ng taong nakikinig sayo. Mahirap na hindi mo sila kasama,” she added.
Following their family’s loss, Jasmine shared that she has become more intentional about giving time and effort to the people who remain in her life. She said they now try to find ways to visit each other whenever possible.
Despite the emotional challenges she continues to face, the actress is staying focused on her career. She was recently confirmed as one of the celebrity dance stars in Stars on the Floor 2026. The Kapamilya star said the project helps her redirect her energy, particularly through dancing.
Aside from the dance program, the actress is also set to share the stage with Sparkle artist Royce Cabrera in the play Endo, scheduled to run from April to May 2026.
Even while keeping herself busy, Jasmine’s candid reflections show that healing from loss takes time. For the actress, staying connected with loved ones remains one of the most important ways she copes with grief.
