Veteran actress Hilda Koronel has opened up about a film project she was supposed to do with the late Superstar Nora Aunor, saying the collaboration was already in motion before the icon’s sudden passing.

During her guest appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on Thursday, Koronel revisited her early years in show business and mentioned the prominent stars she worked alongside.
"Sina Nora (Aunor), Vilma (Santos), Tirso (Cruz III)," she recalled,
as she spoke about her contemporaries in the industry.

"We were supposed to do a film, you know… Nag-meeting na kami ng aming director, si Adolfo Alix Jr. at meron na silang project. Nag-meet na kami kasama ng writer and nasa akin na ‘yung script. And then after a week, she passed," she said.
Koronel admitted the news left her devastated.
"That was really sad for me," she added.
According to the actress, preparations for the film were already underway, with meetings conducted and the script handed to her. The sudden loss of Aunor halted what could have been a significant on-screen reunion between two respected figures in Philippine cinema.
Following Aunor’s passing, Koronel expressed her grief publicly through social media.
"I'm very saddened by Ate Guy's passing. We were discussing a project with her just before I left for home with Direk Adolfo. My deepest condolences to her loved ones and rest in peace now, Ate Guy. You are now home with our Lord. What a big loss to our industry.. but you will never be forgotten. " she wrote.
