Sunshine Garcia has finally spoken about the issue that surfaced following the viral interview of Izzy Trazona-Aragon’s husband, Alvin Aragon.
The controversy began after Aragon claimed that Izzy’s decision to leave the Sexbomb Girls was influenced by their strong religious beliefs. In the same interview, he mentioned Sunshine and her husband, Alex Castro, raising concerns about Castro’s decision to allow his wife to continue performing.

During Beautéderm’s Chinese New Year celebration in Angeles City, Pampanga, the Sexbomb member granted an interview to ABS-CBN News and calmly shared her side. Instead of fueling the issue, the actress-singer made it clear that she prefers to stay silent.
According to the celebrity mom, her husband advised her not to respond further. She explained that there are more important matters to focus on rather than engaging in public exchanges.

Sunshine also stressed that she does not want to say anything hurtful. She acknowledged that people have different perspectives, and she believes it is better to let the issue die down for the sake of everyone involved. The star even expressed concern for Izzy’s family, noting that being bashed online is not easy.
At the same time, the television personality encouraged the public to avoid arguing about religion and politics. She pointed out that these topics often create conflict, especially when people have opposing beliefs.
When asked for a message for Izzy and her family, Sunshine responded sincerely, saying they will pray for them. She clarified that her message was genuine and not said out of politeness.
Sunshine also made it clear that there is no resentment between them. She assured that if they see each other in the future, they would still greet each other warmly. According to her, there was no personal fight and no lingering anger. She said they respect the decision made by Izzy and her husband and are happy for whatever path they have chosen.

Meanwhile, Cynthia Yap-Chingco posted on Instagram to express her gratitude and show support for her fellow SexBomb members. Cynthia said that everyone was able to see how brave Aira Bermudez was despite what had happened. According to Cynthia, they were truly “alarmed” by Aira’s situation in the middle of their performance at the concert.
