During an intimate sit-down interview on the YouTube show TicTALK with Aster Amoyo on February 12, 2026, Del Rosario shut down speculation that the two were ever an official couple, describing their encounter instead as a "fairy tale" moment that never transitioned into a relationship.
The actress recalled that the meeting happened years ago while she was vacationing in the United States.
Fresh from a trip to Boracay and sporting a tanned, "Pocahontas-like" look with waist-length hair, she caught the eye of the Fast & Furious star at a social venue.

Diesel’s security reportedly approached her twice to extend an invitation to a gathering at his Beverly Hills residence.
Del Rosario clarified that she did not go alone; she was part of a large group of friends, including fellow actress Michelle Bayle.
"I saw him, actually no, he saw me. Eh siyempre galing lang akong Boracay, mukha akong si Pocahontas. Tapos my hair was up to, I don't know where. So, I was with another friend of mine at that time... so nag-invite lang siya, 'Hey would you like to join us?' And it was a big group. We went as a big group to his house in Beverly Hills, so we went there and it was like a big party in the house, ganun," she recounted.
During their conversations, they found common ground when Diesel mentioned that one of his brothers was married to a Filipina, sparking a friendly rapport between them.
When pressed by host Aster Amoyo on whether a romantic spark existed, Del Rosario admitted that while a connection could have blossomed, she chose not to pursue it.
At the time, Diesel was at the absolute peak of his global career. "I knew we had different lives," she explained, noting that the vast distance and their disparate lifestyles made a lasting bond impractical.
She characterized the experience as a memorable "moment" rather than a missed opportunity for love.
Despite the lack of romance, Del Rosario praised Diesel as a "wonderful guy" and a "complete gentleman."
She revealed that their communication was brief and limited to a few polite emails, particularly when Diesel visited the Philippines years later for movie promotions.
Today, Del Rosario is happily married to her husband, Anthony Garcia, whom she playfully refers to as her "local version of Vin Diesel," effectively closing the chapter on one of Philippine showbiz's most famous "what if" stories.
Andrea Del Rosario is a prominent Filipino actress and former beauty queen who first made her mark as a finalist in Miss Philippines Earth 2001. A notable alumna of Star Magic’s third batch, she achieved household fame as a leading member of the sensational group Viva Hot Babes. Beyond her early career as a pop culture icon, she has successfully transitioned into dramatic acting and public service, previously serving as the Vice Mayor of Calatagan, Batangas.
Recently, the former Viva Hot Babe admitted to being an avid admirer of the SexBomb Girls, despite the media-fueled rivalry that defined their careers in the early 2000s. The actress revealed that while her group may not be professional dancers, she and her former colleagues are currently developing a unique "gimmick" for a potential stage return. Del Rosario expressed a strong desire to share the spotlight with the SexBomb Girls, suggesting that a joint performance would be a historic celebration of their shared era in Philippine pop culture. Despite diverse paths in politics and solo acting, Del Rosario confirmed the group is finally coordinating their schedules to sit down and formalize plans for their long-awaited reunion.
Previously, Andrea credited her long-time partner, professional polo player Anthony Garcia, with redefining her understanding of a supportive and healthy romantic partnership. The actress candidly reflected on her past, contrasting her current peace with previous relationships that she described as being rooted in deception and emotional manipulation. She shared that Garcia’s presence has been instrumental in her personal growth, helping her heal from old wounds while providing a stable environment for her daughter, Bea. Beyond emotional support, Del Rosario noted that Garcia often acts as a voice of reason, even preventing her from engaging with negative comments or trolls on social media.
