Neri Miranda recently gave her followers a glimpse of how she and her husband, Chito Miranda, celebrated Valentine’s Day this year.

On Instagram, the actress and entrepreneur described their celebration as simple yet full of love. According to Neri, they had a “little date day” watching the musical Les Misérables.

The celebrity openly thanked her husband for always knowing how to make her feel loved. For her, the theatre date was already a memorable highlight of their Valentine’s celebration.

What made the day even more unforgettable was seeing internationally acclaimed singer and theatre icon Lea Salonga during the show. Neri admitted she could not hide her excitement after Salonga noticed them and greeted them from the stage. The actress said she was “fangirling quietly” while internally overwhelmed with joy.

When they returned home, their sons welcomed them with handwritten love letters and flowers that they personally picked from their own garden. Neri described the gesture as very thoughtful and touching, saying it made their hearts even fuller that night.

"Valentine’s this year felt extra special. We had a little date day watching Les Misérables… and it was beautiful. Thank you, Dad. Alam mo talaga kung paano pakiligin. Tapos bonus pa na andun si Ms. Lea Salonga... iba talaga siya. Super kilig moment when she saw us and said hi from the stage. Fangirling quietly pero internally screaming. Waaaaaaaaaaaah! Pag-uwi namin, the boys were waiting with love letters and flowers they picked from our own garden, hehe! So sweet. And while we were celebrating, Ate P was having her first debate somewhere for two days. Isa sya sa representative ng school nila.. Wala siya on Valentine’s Day... but our hearts were full knowing she was out there, finding her voice. Love looks different in every season. Sometimes it’s a theatre date. Sometimes it’s handwritten letters. Sometimes it’s knowing your daughter step into her own stage. Simpleng celebration... pero full of love."

Chito Miranda is a Filipino singer-songwriter best known as the founding member and lead vocalist of the rock band Parokya ni Edgar. In a previous report by KAMI, Neri finally broke her silence over her controversial arrest. On March 21, Neri penned an emotional Instagram post about her ordeals in 2024. According to Neri, "Hindi ko talaga inakala na mapapasama ako sa Most Wanted sa Pilipinas." She also lamented the fact that some even took advantage of her situation back then. Neri was eventually acquitted of all the charges.
