Singer Kris Lawrence revealed he is not ruling out the chance of rekindling his romance with actress Katrina Halili, years after their breakup, during a recent vlog appearance.

The admission came from a “Lie Detector Test” video uploaded on Halili’s YouTube channel on Feb. 6, where the former couple answered personal questions while holding a device that supposedly shocks anyone who lies.
One question asked whether they could still end up together if both remained single a decade from now.
Lawrence initially laughed before giving a thoughtful response.

“It’s too far in the future. Anything’s possible siguro… If we’re both single in 10 years—if we’re both single—why not?” he said. The device had already indicated a “lie” result before he finished answering.
When the same question was directed to Halili, she expressed uncertainty about what lies ahead.
“Hindi natin alam. Hindi natin alam kung anong pwedeng mangyari bukas or whatever. Hindi natin alam, hindi ko alam,” she said.
Beyond future possibilities, Lawrence also reflected on their past relationship, which ended in 2014.
He shared that even knowing the outcome, he would still choose the same path because of their child.
“If I didn’t, wala si Katie (Katie wouldn’t be here),” he said.
In recent months, the two have frequently appeared together in social media posts, fueling speculation among fans about a possible reconciliation.
While neither confirmed getting back together, Lawrence’s openness and Halili’s candid remarks suggest that, at the very least, their connection remains strong as co-parents and longtime friends.
