Actress Claudine Barretto is recovering after sustaining injuries during an accident that occurred while she was working on "Totoy Bato" on February 8.

In an Instagram post addressed to her supporters, Barretto shared details of the incident and her current condition.
“To all my Palanggas and Claudinians, I had an accident yesterday (February 8) during Totoy Bato. I hit my head, back and hips really hard,” she said.
She added that she was immediately brought to Saint Luke’s Medical Center in Bonifacio Global City for treatment.

The actress explained that she is now focusing on rest and recovery while waiting for the results of her medical examinations.
“Now I am trying to recuperate,” she wrote. She also reassured fans that she would continue to provide updates regarding her health. “We are still waiting for the results and I will keep you posted,” Barretto said.
Despite experiencing significant pain, Barretto emphasized that the support she has received has helped her remain strong during this difficult time.
“Though I am in so much pain, your love, support, and prayers strengthens me,” she shared.
She concluded her message by expressing heartfelt appreciation to those who have reached out.
“Thank you and Mahal ko po kayong lahat,” Barretto said.
