AJ Raval opens up about hiding motherhood; reveals her eldest used to call her 'ate'

AJ shared that even without being taught, Yana seemed to understand that they had to hide their true relationship when in public.

"Si Yana nga, yun pong panganay ko na si Ariana, parang nasanay na po siya. Parang alam niya po yung nangyayari," AJ explained. "Hindi ko po siya tinuruan pero pag nasa bahay po kami, ang tawag po niya sakin eh 'Mommy Bats' pero pag nasa labas po kami, automatic po siya na ang tawag niya sakin 'Ate Bats' po noon," she revealed.

The actress expressed a deep longing for a normal life, away from the prying eyes of strangers and hidden cameras. She admitted that their privacy was often compromised even within their own home.

"Kasi, Ms. Toni, gusto na po naming matapos. Gusto naming maging malaya," she told Toni. "Sa bahay pa lang naming, may mga taong andun na hindi ko kilala, gusto lang nilang maka-capture ng picture nung mga bata," she confessed.

Now that the truth is out, AJ’s main goal is to be a present mother without any fear. She wants to experience the simple joys of motherhood, like attending school events and throwing big parties for her kids.

"Yung panganay ko po, nag-aaral, gusto ko po pumunta sa school niya, maging present," AJ said. "Gusto naming sila ipasyal, gusto naming sila bigyan ng malalaking celebration," she shared to the talk show host.
