Megan Young reveals dengue diagnosis in latest update on Instagram channel

Fans of Megan Young finally received an update directly from the beauty queen herself after being silent in her channel for awhile. In a heartfelt post on her Instagram channel, Megan shared the reason behind her silence: she has been battling a case of dengue.

"I haven't had an update in so long because right after my previous messages, I got sick little did I know, I had dengue! Only found out when I was recovering na," Megan revealed to her subscribers.

In her post on the photo-sharing application, she revealed she experienced a bunch of "itchy patches" throughout her body, but that all is good now for her.
"I had itchy patches all over my body. All is good now but getting sick affected my milk supply so much I had such a struggle with my milk that during the holidays when I got sick again, I decided to start weaning," she said.

This new shift, according to Megan, has been less stressful for her on her end, sharing pumping actually makes her very hungry at times.
"It's been sooooo hard weaning but after slowly doing so for 1.5 months, I'm starting to feel more like myself, less stressed, less snacking (nakakagutom mag-pump!), and less pressured," she wrote on her channel.
By the end of her post, however, Megan penned a simple note and reminder to her fellow 'mommas' and said they will know what is best for their children the most.
"Always remember that fed is best. We mommas know what is best for ourselves and our bebes," she wrote.
