Actor Aljur Abrenica officially exited “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” on Tuesday, marking the end of his four-month run in the hit action-drama series.

In the show’s 761st episode, Abrenica’s character, PLT. Hector Victorino, met his end after a tense confrontation with the protagonist Tanggol, portrayed by Coco Martin.

Victorino and his men attempted to capture Tanggol under the orders of incumbent mayor Miguelito, played by Jake Cuenca. The mission ultimately failed, leading to the character’s death in a climactic sequence.

The episode drew strong audience engagement, recording 599,997 concurrent viewers on Kapamilya Online Live, according to Dreamscape Entertainment.

The production outfit, together with CCM Film Productions, also expressed appreciation to Abrenica for his contribution to the long-running series.

Abrenica was introduced to the show four months ago as Victorino, a character who quickly became involved in the central conflict of the story.

“FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” is now in its third year and continues to be one of the most-watched programs across multiple platforms.

The series airs on weeknights at 8 p.m. on Kapamilya Channel and ALLTV2, while also streaming on iWant. Viewers can also watch the show on A2Z, Kapamilya Online Live, and TFC.
