Arra San Agustin opens up on being choosy in love, says connection matters more than wealth

Kapuso actress Arra San Agustin once again became a topic of discussion after candid revelations about her love life surfaced during her recent appearance on the program “Your Honor.”

During the guesting with fellow actor Mikoy Morales, the two were asked if they had ever been pursued by someone who was already in a relationship.

“Feeling ko naman meron, oo. Pero nakalimutan ko na siya eh. Hindi ko naman binigyan ng atensiyon,” Arra shared, making it clear she chose not to dwell on the experience.

Comedian Chariz Solomon, who was also present, added more context by recalling how selective Arra has always been, even when she was single.

“Alam mo, ang hirap niyang alayan [si Arra]. Noong single siya may mga inaalay ako sa kaniya. Tsaka 'yung mga nanliligaw sa kaniya, mga big time,” Chariz said.

The conversation turned playful when a host joked that Arra might not need to work if she ended up with a rich partner.

“‘Huwag ka nang tumayo sa kama na ‘yan. Ang yaman-yaman mo na,’” Chariz teased, before pointing out how Arra consistently turned down such advances.

“Pero talagang, o elbow (tinatanggihan ni Arra),” she added.

Arra later explained her mindset when it comes to romance.

“'Pag hindi ko kasi talaga trip, ‘di ko trip eh. Hinahanap ko 'yung connection, ‘yun talaga,” she said.

She stressed that wealth and good looks mean little without emotional depth.

“Wala talaga, kahit anong pilit ko, kahit anong pilit mo, hindi ko talaga kaya,” Arra added.

“Alam mo na, Juami, nakikinig ka ba,” she even jokingly called out her partner.

Last year, Arra confirmed that she and PBA player Juami Tiongson had rekindled their relationship. In a separate interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” she previously shared that Juami has become her personal standard when it comes to men.

Arra San Agustin is a Filipina actress and television personality best known for her work with GMA Network. She started her career as part of GMA Artist Center and gradually built her name through supporting and later more prominent roles in teleseryes and films. Arra is recognized for playing both sweet and strong female characters, which helped her gain a steady fan base.

During the same interview, Chariz revealed that Lovely extended an interest-free loan to help secure a family property. She shared that Lovely and her husband chose to assist her financially after a video call where they became emotional upon learning about her situation.
