Paolo is a father to three daughters. His two eldest children, Xonia and Xalene, are from his marriage to his ex-wife Lian Paz. While he acknowledged that people see these moments, Paolo made it clear that he does not live his life to please critics. He directly addressed his bashers with a strong message: Pakialam ko sayo! At feeling nila naayosyung buhay ko dahil sa mga sinabi niladi ba? No! Kailangan matuto ka lang sumala ng ganun. Na kung hindi mo kaya mag-sala, e, di huwag ka mag-post.”

Paolo also admitted that social media can be extremely toxic and damaging to mental health.
