Sunshine Garcia took to Instagram with a candid and lighthearted message about embracing her current body as she prepared for a major concert at the MOA Arena.

She began her post with the playful declaration “IN MY CHUBBY ERA,” reflecting on how she spent years being slim only for their long-awaited show to push through now that she is, in her words, a bit more “malaman.”

She noted that some people understand her journey, while others freely comment with phrases like “ANG TABA MO” or “ANG BIGAT NI SHINE.”

Sunshine shared a moment from the previous night when her husband, VG Alex Castro, asked if the comments bothered her.

She said, “HINDI,” and explained that she simply laughed. She added that he laughed as well and told her she only looked affected.

She also explained why she refuses to be pressured by unsolicited remarks. Sunshine said she checked the account of one person who insulted her and could only respond with “NO COMMENT.”

She then reminded followers that she gave birth via C-section less than a year ago.

She said she does not want to rush her body’s recovery. She added that she knows she will lose weight in time and is currently enjoying being called cute for the first time.

Sunshine encouraged her supporters to watch the “Rawnd 2 Concert” at the MOA Arena at 8 p.m. She told them to expect the same cheerful version of herself onstage. She said she intends to savor every moment of the experience, especially since they are unsure if they will ever have the chance to do it again.
