The singer-songwriter looked back on her childhood with her late father, Comedy King Dolphy. She spoke with a soft smile while sharing the sweetest stories.

Zia said Dolphy’s way of showing love was through gifts and time. He always made sure she felt special. One memory that touched her heart the most was when she could not sleep.

Dolphy would gently rub her back. He kept doing it until she finally fell asleep. Zia said that had happened many times when she was a child.

She laughed a little and told Boy Abunda that she now understood how much her dad had spoiled her. Looking back, she sees how extra caring he was.

"Love language din niya to give gifts, pati sa time," she said.

:Yung talagang minsan hindi ako makatulog ta’s talagang ginaganyan [nira-rub] niya ako until I fell asleep," she added.
