Ara shared this significant update during an interview at the recent Maddox Gala Night in Marikina City, where she was showcasing her versatility by walking the runway.

Surrounded by the glamour of showbiz, the actress explained that the demanding nature of the political campaign trail, and the duties that come with public office, required an unforeseen sacrifice in her entrepreneurial life.

"For now, wala sa isip ko. I’m conditioning myself not to run again. Maybe I’ll just focus on foundation work," the actress stated, offering a candid glimpse into her mental reset. " Napapabayaan ko kasi ’yung business ko, and many people have been telling me to get back to it. I even have new products launching next year."

This move marks the end of her involvement in the political sphere following her run for Pasig City District 2 councilor in the 2025 local elections, where she ran under the banner of the Sarah Discaya-led opposition ticket.

While the results did not align with her aspirations, Ara stressed an important emotional distinction: she carries absolutely no regret about her decision to run.
