Claudine Barretto drew an outpouring of sympathy from fans and followers after posting a heartfelt message for her mother, Inday Barretto, on Instagram.

The actress shared raw emotions as she opened up about her longing, her grief, and the strength she is trying to hold on to for the sake of their family.

In her post, Claudine wrote, "i wish i could hug u so tight & Cry so hard right now Mom."

She followed the line with a reflection on the responsibility she feels as one of six children left behind.

The actress added, "But you can't always be strong for 6 children left at 89."

The emotional message revealed how she constantly reminds herself of her mother’s resilience.

Claudine said, "i constantly have to remind myself that i am Inday Barretto's daughter."

She also hoped to inherit even half of the strength her mother showed throughout her life.

Claudine then promised herself that she would no longer break down.

The actress said, "no more crying for me Mom."

She explained that there were no regrets—only lessons she would carry forward.

She continued, "i don't want to call coz this will the last time i will shed a Tear."

Despite the grief, her message was filled with deep affection.

Claudine wrote, "i know you're reading this now."
