In a Facebook post, the content creator explained that the moment was being blown out of proportion.
“It’s not that serious and deep,” she wrote.
She clarified that she had already chosen her child’s godparents as early as her first trimester, which is why she could not add new names to the list.

Bea also reminded her followers that there was no tension between her and the comedienne.
“Btw, love ko si ate Herlene ha," she said.
Her statement came after some netizens reacted strongly to her on-cam refusal.
On TikTok, Herlene responded with understanding, assuring viewers that she had no hard feelings about what happened.
“Okay lang naman kasi ang daming na-hurt para sa’kin kasi nag-volunteer ako bilang ninang, pero ‘di ako kinuha, okay lang ‘yun,” she shared.
Herlene added that she appreciated the concern but reiterated that she was not offended.
