Kapuso star Barbie Forteza is embracing a new chapter centered on wellness and self-improvement, proudly sharing that she is “single and very happy” as she rediscovers her love for fitness.

During a short interview with columnist Gorgy Rula at the premiere night of *Gabi ng Lagim*, the actress remained composed when asked about the rumors involving her and Kapamilya actor Jameson Blake.

Barbie and Jameson previously worked together in the Netflix film "Kontrabida Academy," which fueled speculation about their relationship earlier this year.

Despite the buzz, Barbie chose to keep the focus on her personal journey.

“Actually bumalik na po ako,” she says as she talked about returning to running.

She explained that she has been rebuilding her endurance after slowing down for a while.

She added that she has been exploring new ways to stay active.

“Ngayon, nag try ako magswimming so nagswim training na rin ako,” she says.

She also shared that she plans to return to Pilates as part of her overall fitness routine.

When asked directly about her relationship status, Barbie responded with a smile.

“I am single and very happy–– always happy,” she says.

She gently brushed aside further questions about Jameson, choosing not to revisit the rumors.

“Grabe naman, nako wag na natin pagusapan,” she says as she reiterated that she is not in a romantic relationship.

Questions about the friendship she formed with Jameson were also met with silence, with Barbie shifting the conversation back to promoting the film they were watching that night.

Earlier this year, Jameson spoke about how they connected while working on an undisclosed project.
