A somber development has emerged following the death of freelance model Gina Lima, as her former boyfriend was discovered lifeless inside his residence on Wednesday, ABS-CBN reported.

According to the La Loma Police Station, the man was still brought to the hospital in an attempt to save him, but doctors were unable to revive him upon arrival.

Investigators confirmed that this same ex-boyfriend was the individual who rushed Lima to the hospital last Sunday, where she was declared dead on arrival.

His involvement in transporting her to the emergency room had placed him among the key persons police were planning to question, especially as authorities sought clarity on the events leading up to the model’s sudden passing.

Caught by CCTV, three men entered their store, closed the roll-up door, and shot the entire family to death. Before fleeing, one of the suspects even grabbed a bag and a mobile phone from the victim.
