AJ Raval recently opened up about the sense of liberation she felt after her father, Jeric, accidentally revealed in a press conference that she and actor Aljur Abrenica have children together.

“I was happy then. I was really happy,” AJ shared during her second interview on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" on Thursday, with her father present.

She described the moment as a “blessing in disguise.”

“At that time, I was already asking, I was already praying for freedom. And then, my dad suddenly slipped… Blessing in disguise,” AJ said.

Since that revelation, AJ has felt free to go out in public with her children and Aljur.

“We’re happy, I’m happy. We go out now, we eat. We’re not hiding anymore,” she shared.

AJ revealed that Jeric encouraged her to make the children public, while Aljur had no reservations at all. She admitted that she initially kept the kids private due to her belief in the evil eye.

“Aljur had no problem. He doesn’t want to hide the kids. I’m the one who was hiding them because I also believe in the evil eye. That’s why I didn’t want to show the children,” she said.

AJ confirmed that she and Aljur have three children together—Althena, Aljur Jr., and Abraham, the youngest who just turned two months old on AJ’s birthday, September 3.

She also shared that her two older children are from a non-showbiz partner, who continues to fulfill his responsibilities.

The actress expressed joy over Aljur’s positive relationship with her eldest, Arianna.

“The dynamics are good. Aljur teaches Yana many things. Before, she was very clingy and calm. Now, Aljur is teaching her how to be athletic,” AJ said, smiling.

With her children now publicly acknowledged, AJ seems to embrace both motherhood and her public life, finally balancing openness with protection for her family.

As previously reported by KAMI, Jeric Raval confirmed that his daughter AJ Raval and her partner Aljur Abrenica are parents to two young children, a boy and a girl. The revelation took place during a press interview at the victory party of "Mamay: A Journey To Greatness" in Quezon City on August 23, 2025, according to PEP.ph. Inquirer.net reported that Jeric, who now has 15 grandchildren in total, shared that the couple’s eldest child closely resembles him. He also mentioned the children’s ages, a detail likewise covered by Bandera.

Aljur Abrenica then responded to Jeric Raval’s statement that his daughter AJ Raval has two children with him, showing respect for Jeric and understanding his perspective.
