Barbie Imperial has once again shown her big-sister energy in showbiz by calling out online bashers who trolled Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin over their Halloween costumes.

The 28-year-old actress jumped into the fray with a heartfelt comment on social media.

The drama kicked off after Francine and Seth, the beloved "FranSeth" tandem, showed up at Raymond Gutierrez's star-studded "The New Nocturnals" Halloween party on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.

But Francine and Seth opted for something simpler: brownish outfits with a wrapped, textured look that they later explained in an interview as a creative twist on a Sandman character, which shows dusty dream-weaver meets modern mummy.

In clips from the party circulating online, the 22-year-old Francine rocked a draped dress with subtle bandages and earthy makeup, while her on-screen partner Seth, matched in a loose ensemble.

They posed together, looking cozy and confident amid the spooky decor.

It was all good but not everyone agreed. As party photos and videos hit TikTok and Instagram, a wave of negative comments rolled in.

One viral TikTok video, featuring a clip of Francine at the event, carried a caption "hindi natin sila bati," which racked up thousands of views and sparked debates in the comments.

That's when Barbie Imperial stepped in like a true ally.

The beautiful actress, who has her own packed schedule with upcoming projects, spotted the video and dropped a lengthy, empathetic reply.

"Grabe noh? Francine and Seth are super busy with Sins Of The Father, and they have a movie. They probably just decided to keep it simple kasi may taping pa sila next day. So sad people judge too much. These kids are super hard working and talented," she wrote.

Her words quickly went viral themselves, shifting the narrative from shade to support.

Fans shared the screenshot on Twitter and received positive reactions.

Francine and Seth, part of the hit ABS-CBN series Dirty Linen and now deep into the intense legal drama Sins Of The Father.

Barbie's defense hit home because she's been there, balancing shoots, events, and the constant eye of the public.
