Joining the wave of viewers embracing reality-TV fandom language, Arce shared that he has been learning the terms commonly used to describe housemate pairings and fan reactions.
“So far these are the words I learned from watching PBB and reading comments about it... Ship, ilayag, lubog,” he wrote. He then added a playful note of preference: “Personally, gusto kong word yung ilayag.”
In "PBB" culture, “ship” is used when fans support a potential love team, “ilayag” means to push or “sail” the pairing forward, and “lubog” refers to a pairing losing favor or momentum.
