After more than a decade of pageant experience, Emma Tiglao is now reaping the rewards of perseverance and purpose as the newly crowned Miss Grand International.

Reflecting on her long journey, Tiglao shared how her return to the competition scene through Miss Grand Philippines marked a new chapter in her life.
The win ended her six-year break from pageantry, following her Top 20 finish at Miss Intercontinental 2019.
In a reel she posted over the weekend, Tiglao looked back on her motivation for joining again.

“I've prayed for this moment, not just for the crown but for clarity. Six years ago, I walked away with lessons, not with regrets. I made sure I have a strong foundation, strengthened my voice, and nurtured my purpose,” said the television host and news presenter, who had earlier bid farewell to pageantry in 2022.
“With all the collective experience that I had, this is a different Emma now,” she added.
“The woman who knows who she is, what she stands for, and who she's doing it for.”
For Tiglao, her setbacks were never wasted. “Sometimes, God makes you wait — not to test you, but to prepare you.”
Now, having achieved her long-awaited victory, Tiglao has made history as the first back-to-back Miss Grand International winner, succeeding fellow Filipina CJ Opiaza.
In gratitude, she wrote, “May this moment remind us that even in the darkest times, faith, love, and perseverance will always light the way.”
Emma Tiglao is a Filipina beauty queen, television host, and news presenter best known for her resilience and grace in the pageant world. Born in Mabalacat, Pampanga, she began joining beauty contests at a young age, steadily building her career through major national competitions such as Binibining Pilipinas, where she was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2019. She went on to represent the Philippines at Miss Intercontinental 2019, finishing in the Top 20. Outside of pageantry, Tiglao has established herself as a respected media personality, admired for her eloquence, grounded values, and advocacy for self-growth and purpose-driven living.
