In his Facebook post, Ogie explained that because his YouTube channel remained open for Raymart’s side, the actor’s legal counsels—Atty. Howard Calleja and Atty. Katrin Jessica Distor-Guinigundo—promptly responded.

They “strongly denied” what they described as “baseless and untruthful allegations” made by Mrs. Barretto against their client.

"It is very unfortunate that Mrs. Barretto opted to resort to publicity to spread this untruthful and slanderous narrative about our client and his marriage with Ms. Claudine Barretto, who has likewise repeatedly exploited social media and sought recourse through trial by publicity to discredit our client's name and reputation," their statement read.

The lawyers also reminded the Barretto family of a gag order issued by the Family Court, Branch 5 of Mandaluyong City, which prohibits public discussion of matters related to the ongoing legal issues between the parties.

They emphasized that this serves as a final warning, adding, “Any utterances in contravention of the law shall be dealt with before the appropriate forum to protect our client’s rights and to preserve his interests.”

The controversy follows renewed attention on the long-standing conflict between Claudine Barretto and Raymart Santiago, as public exchanges between both sides continue to unfold on social media.
