Actor Troy Montero couldn’t hide his pride as he celebrated a heartwarming milestone in the life of his daughter Rocket, who was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

From being non-verbal at three years old, Rocket has now learned to read at the age of six.
Montero shared the touching moment on Instagram last Oct. 14, showing himself reading a storybook with Rocket.

Expressing his gratitude, the actor emphasized that his daughter’s progress was a team effort.
“Like any success story, it takes a team to get here,” he said, giving credit to Rocket’s teachers and the therapies that guided her development. “We’re beyond grateful.”
He also extended appreciation to the online community that has supported their family through Rocket’s ASD Awareness Page.
“Your encouragement, your stories, and your positive energy mean so much to us. Let’s keep pushing for more progress, more breakthroughs, and more hope,” Montero added.
“Onward and upward,” he concluded, capturing his optimism for Rocket’s continued growth.
Rocket is the youngest child of Montero and his wife, actress Aubrey Miles.
The couple first opened up about their daughter’s condition in April 2022 and have since documented her inspiring journey—offering hope, awareness, and encouragement to other families navigating life with autism.
Both Troy and Aubrey have touched so many lives, families, and parents who are dealing with the same condition. They have become a guide to those couples who wish to discover ways on how to care for their little ones.
Troy Montero and Aubrey Miles are a celebrity couple in the Philippines. In June 2022, they got married after being together for nearly two decades. They have been blessed with two children named Hunter and Rocket.

In fact, just recently, Troy decided to post his and Aubrey's reaction as they watched the K-drama titled 'Lovely Runner.' The said Korean drama has already ended on May 28, 2024, and it looked like it hit them differently. He uploaded a video of their reactions during the last episode, and he wrote, "GOSH, I didn’t think…#LovelyRunner was gonna hit like that."
