Rochelle Pangilinan finds fulfillment in acting, wins award and gears up for Sexbomb reunion

After completing her first movie project this year, actress and dancer Rochelle Pangilinan reflected on the joy and fulfillment she felt working on director Tim Rone Villanueva’s Child No. 82, an entry to this year’s Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival.

“I’m so happy with 'Child No. 82.' Ayun, at least nagawa ko pa rin siya. Kasi ang ganda rin talaga ng storya and ang galing ng director. Ang galing ng lahat ng tao sa pelikula,” she told PUSH ABS-CBN.
Rochelle also shared how her experience on set taught her a valuable life lesson.
“Sabi ko nga sa isang interview na natuto ako dito sa 'Child No. 82.' Yung nakita ko kay director Tim na kapag nagkakaroon ng problema… ‘Ano ang solusyon?’ So nilagay ko siya sa pamumuhay ko sa pang araw-araw na buhay.”

In August, Rochelle earned the Best Single Performance by an Actress award at the 37th PMPC Star c. The former Sexbomb Girls leader said she values being recognized for her acting skills beyond her dancing background.
“Gusto ko pang magpursigi pa, mas husayan pa. Gusto ko pang matuto. Gusto kong malaman pa lahat ang tungkol sa pag-arte,” she shared.
Despite leaving the iconic dance group in 2011, Rochelle said she doesn’t miss dancing too much, especially with the highly anticipated Sexbomb reunion concert set for December 4, 2022. “Talagang ngayon lang natuloy and it’s in God’s perfect timing,” she said.
Rochelle Pangilinan broke through in showbiz as a member and leader of the famous dance group SexBomb. She has appeared in several Kapuso TV shows. Rochelle got married to Arthur Solinap on August 8, 2017, in Tagaytay City. The dancer and actress then gave birth to their first child Shiloh Jayne on February 24, 2019. Rochelle was among the most popular member of the dance group. They made waves in the entertainment industry, and were among the most highly-demanded group.
Rochelle has taken to Instagram and shared videos of a group whom she was teaching. The group of girls and boys were all good dancers and took part in the Dance Sparkle workshop. She also shared her reflection on the values and the essence of teaching. Rochelle said that it takes a special vision and creativity to transform movement into art.
Rochelle turned 42 years old last year. She had a fun-filled celebration of her birthday together with her loved ones. The celebrity mom took to social media and shared photos captured by Nice Print Photography from the celebration. Celebrities like Glaiza De Castro, Gabby Eigenmann, and Mark Bautista are among those spotted at the event.
