In his interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on Thursday, Mavy admitted that the situation was not easy for him or his family.
“I mean, of course, I was disappointed in myself. Because I knew I could say a lot of things, but I'm a man of my word. I don't fight the opposite s3x. It will always be [in] the Bible for me,” he shared.
He explained that this belief comes from his deep respect for the women in his life — his mother, grandmother, and sister.

“I just made sure na I wouldn't be so hard-headed next time. Everything that I'll do will always be out of peace. And they know that,” he said.
Despite the public attention and speculation, Mavy said his family remained unshaken.
“We were still intact. You know, the truth set us free. The truth kept us at peace. And there was really no sermon because kilala nila ako eh,” he said, stressing that rumors about him were untrue.
Looking back, Mavy shared that the experience helped him grow and deepen his spirituality.
“It brought me closer to God, which is definitely something I'm really grateful for,” he said.
The Sparkle actor is now in a relationship with Ashley Ortega, who previously expressed that she remained unbothered by past controversies.
Previously, he gave tribute to his mom.
“Cheers to you today and always. I’ll love you forever, I’ll love you for always, For as long as I’m living, my momma you’ll be,” he said.
In the interview, he was with his sister, Cassy, and parents, Zoren and Carmina Legaspi.
