Actress and director Alessandra De Rossi opened up about her personal choice to avoid doing kissing and love scenes, saying she no longer finds them necessary in storytelling.

During her guest appearance on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" on Wednesday, Alessandra candidly explained her stance.

“Ayaw ko. Hindi rin sila required sa films ko na ganon. Dito, mayroon kaming konti sa ‘Everyone Knows Every Juan.’

Tapos tinanong ako, ipapakita ba 'yon. Hindi siya ipapakita. Mababanggit lang talaga siya. Gano’n. Hindi na kailangan visually ipakita,” she said.

Although she had performed a few kissing scenes early in her career, Alessandra shared that her perception changed over time.

“Nakakadiri siya number one. Number two, kapag nakita mo siya... 'Yung first ko kasi eight shots paikot-ikot so parang I was 16-17 years old, nasaktan ako... sumasakit ang katawan ko,” she recalled.

She also admitted feeling uneasy when she saw her scene later on.

“Noong napanood ko siya parang na-feel ko magiging proud ba ang tatay ko sa akin? ... Then all of a sudden, 'di ba, 'Uy si Alex?'” she added.

Because of her firm principles, Alessandra admitted she lost several big projects.

“Madami akong nawala... Malaking project sila pero hindi naman ako nagsisi,” she said.

Despite this, Alessandra continues to thrive in the industry. She starred in the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival Best Picture “Green Bones,” appeared in “Republika ng Pipolipinas,” and directed the upcoming film “Everyone Knows Every Juan,” set for release this October.

Alessandra de Rossi is a Filipino actress and the younger sister of Assunta de Rossi. She has won a FAMAS Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Azucena. She is considered one of the most versatile actresses. Her sister, Assunta, is also an actress. Both of them have already won a Best Actress award at the Metro Manila Film Festival. Assunta is the wife of Cong. Jules Ledesma. She is known as one of the most versatile actresses of her generation. She can hack any role and one can see that she can deliver it with utmost greatness.

Meanwhile, Alessandra De Rossi took to social media to greet Piolo Pascual. Piolo is celebrating his 47th birthday today, January 12. In her message to Piolo, Alessandra hilariously told the actor, "300 years old ka na." The actress also joked about the role she wants for Piolo in their next collaboration
