In an interview during her launch as the newest brand ambassador of Sisters, Young spoke about the importance of kindness, empathy, and support among women.

“Sisterhood in general is supporting one another. Be a girl’s girl. Uplift one another, support your sister, push her when she needs encouragement. Don’t push them down, lift them up. Sino pa ba ang magtutulungan if tayo-tayo lang?” she said.

Young added that learning to embrace flaws is part of breaking unrealistic beauty norms. She reminded women to think carefully before making comments about others’ appearances.

“Not everything needs to be said. Minsan basta may ma-comment or ‘mema’ lang. Supporting one another is enough. What may be beautiful for myself may not be for someone else—and that is okay,” she explained.

The actress also reflected on her own struggles with self-image after giving birth earlier this year to her first child, Leon, with husband Mikael Daez.

"We are our worst critic... even me, after giving birth, sabi ko, ‘bakit ang laki pa rin ng tyan ko?’**” she admitted.

Now, Young says she’s learned to appreciate her body’s changes, including weight gain and stretch marks.

“I stick to people who will uplift me rather than focus on the negative,” she shared, emphasizing that real beauty lies in compassion and confidence.
