Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez seems to be growing impatient with the ongoing investigation into widespread corruption in government.
On Sunday, September 28, she posted on X asking when those responsible will finally be held accountable.
She questioned if anyone will return the stolen money and if punishment will ever be given to those involved. She ended her post with a short plea: Lord save us.
Her statement triggered various reactions from netizens. Some recalled past scandals like Pork Barrel and Pharmally where no one faced serious consequences.
