As the eldest, Shuvee said she takes pride in finally being able to provide her brothers and sisters with their own rooms.
“Ang pinakapaborito ko kapag tinatanong ko 'yung mga kapatid ko 'Anong color ng kwarto 'yung gusto n'yo?'” she said.
This simple joy stems from her childhood experiences of sharing a single room with all her siblings.
“Never namin 'yun na-experience, na-experience namin lahat kami magkakapatid, walo kami sa isang kwarto. Gusto ko lang maranasan nila na may sarili silang space. Sana makumpleto agad,” she recounted.
Beyond private rooms, Shuvee emphasized the importance of having a permanent residence her family can finally call their own.
“Growing up, never kami nagkaroon ng sariling bahay namin. Nakikitira kami sa lola palagi, sa Cebu, sa Polomolok, wherever we are, lagi kaming nagre-renta. Wala kaming matawag na sariling amin,” she explained.
Since her PBB* journey, Shuvee has received multiple projects and brand endorsements, which she wholeheartedly credits for making her long-awaited dream a reality.
